Welcome to the gateway to OASys, UWA's Online Admission Application system. You have been referred to OASys from a UWA website containing information relating to UWA's admission requirements. Please ensure that you have read all information relevant to your application as set out on that website before you commence the online application process.

International Applicants should refer to information under the heading as well as information under other headings relating to the course/s for which you wish to apply.

International Applicants

If you are an International Applicant applying for a new course at UWA you must apply through the UWA International Centre. You should visit the International Centre website for information regarding fees and visa conditions, and to download an application form.

If you are a current UWA student who wishes to transfer between courses at UWA you can apply to do so online when transfer applications are open (usually mid-year and again at the end of the year). You should ensure you fully understand the implications for fees and visa conditions. Contact the staff at the International Centre for advice.

Applications for Honours

If you completed your undergraduate studies at UWA you should lodge an application for honours via studentConnect by clicking on the Apply for Honours link in the left hand menu bar of StudentConnect. If you no longer have access to Student Connect you should email Student Administration with your details and access will be arranged.

If you completed your undergraduate degree at another tertiary institution, you can apply online by clicking the button below.

Undergraduate Applications

Domestic undergraduate applications for commencement in a new course of study for second semester are available online here. Applications for the second semester (July) intake usually open from early May - for more information and exact application opening and closing dates please refer to the Future Students pages of the UWA website.

Domestic students wishing to apply for commencement at the beginning of an academic year, must apply via the Tertiary Institutions Student Centre (TISC). You cannot apply online using OASys. See the TISC website at http://www.tisc.edu.au.

If you have previously created an account on OASys and/or submitted an application you can Login using the link in the top menu bar and check on the status of your application.

Responding to an Offer for second semester (July) commencement

If you are made an offer to start in second semester (July) you will receive a letter in the mail to advise you of this. Check the Future Students pages of the UWA website for notification dates. You will then be able to respond to that offer online, through OASys. Just login using your OASys login ID and password to see the outcome status of your application and let us know whether you intend to accept, decline or defer. For more information on these options, please refer to the Future Students pages of the UWA website.

Study Abroad & Student Exchange

Comprehensive information about Study Abroad and Student Exchange is available from the Study Abroad and Student Exchange website; you should make sure you have read all relevant information, including information relating to fees and visas, before you continue.

Study Abroad

If your university or college does not have a formal student exchange agreement with UWA, or if all student exchange places are filled in the student exchange program between UWA and your university or you have completed high school but not yet enrolled at a university, you can still study at UWA through the Study Abroad Program.

Student Exchange

If your university has a formal university agreement with UWA, you can apply to study at UWA as an exchange student. To find out more about what being an exchange student means, you should check out the Study Abroad and Student Exchange website. To apply for Exchange you must go through your home institution first; you can't apply straight away online. Once your home institution has nominated you for an exchange programme and it has been approved by us we'll send you logon details and you can return here to complete your application.

Applications to Transfer

If you are a current UWA student and you wish to move between UWA degrees you may lodge an application to transfer via StudentConnect by clicking on the Apply to Transfer link in the left hand menu bar of StudentConnect. Information relating to course transfer can be found on the Current Students website.

Responding to an Offer

Once offers are made, all applicants will receive an email advising them to check the status of their application online. The notification dates will be available on the Current Students website. You will then be able to respond to that offer online, through StudentConnect. Just login to StudentConnect and click on the My Applications link on the left hand menu to see the outcome status of your application. If you have been made an offer you will be able to respond online and let us know whether you intend to accept or decline.

Some types of courses are not available for online application at this stage. We hope that more will be available in future. Links to the application forms for courses not available for online application have been provided under the appropriate tabs on this page.

For help relating to admission requirements, qualifications or other information relating to the course for which you are applying you should contact the relevant admissions processing area.

If your course type is available for online application, you may wish to read some information about the online application process before you begin. You can access this information at all times throughout the process by clicking on the OASys Help link in the top menu bar.

Postgraduate Coursework Applications

OASys is available to a selection of postgraduate coursework courses. To check if your course is an OASys course, see http://www.studyat.uwa.edu.au/postgraduate/apply/forms.

If your chosen course is not available for application via OASys ...

Domestic students: To apply for postgraduate thesis-and-coursework programmes (>66% research) you should click here for an application form. To apply for a research-only programme you should visit the Graduate Research School website.

International students: To apply for either a thesis-and-coursework programme or a research-only programme you should click here to visit the International Centre website and download an application form.
